“What we consistently hear from founders is how challenging it is to move from early clients to a repeatable sales model,” says Ruth Casselman, CEO at the Accelerator Centre. “The companies in this cohort have already built something meaningful and being selected into AC:RevLab is recognition of that. Now, the AC’s role is to help them turn that progress into sustainable growth.”
“AC:RevLab was valuable because it went beyond theory. The program created space to learn from founders at different stages, exchange honest lessons with peers, and receive guidance from mentors who brought real-world experience into every conversation. John’s insights, in particular, really stood out to me because he shared the kind of practical tips and earned wisdom that you only learn through years of experience. It helped me better understand my sales funnel, think more clearly and strategically about who to reach, when to reach them, and how to move potential customers through the process. I left with a clearer path for the next stage of my business,” said Saba Oji, Founder of HolisticMindAI.
“AC:RevLab gave me something most programs don’t: hands-on, specific guidance on how to build a go-to-market engine that scales. The 1:1 coaching sessions were some of the most valuable hours I’ve spent as a founder. The GTM workshops helped me pressure-test assumptions I didn’t even know I was making. For any founder who’s past the ‘what are we building’ phase and deep in the ‘how do we grow’ phase, AC:RevLab is the program for them,” said Rebecca Lyons, Founder of HerSay.
“Ontario’s tech entrepreneurs are turning bold ideas into real economic opportunities, and programs like AC:RevLab are helping them take that critical next step from early traction to sustained growth. Through FedDev Ontario, our government is investing in the people, partnerships, and platforms that help innovative companies scale, create good jobs, and compete globally. By strengthening our regional innovation ecosystem, we’re building a more resilient, competitive economy that works for everyone,” said the Honourable Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
“Across Waterloo Region, we’re seeing more founders reach that moment where early traction needs to turn into something repeatable. Programs like AC:RevLab are important because they focus on that shift—building the systems that actually drive growth,” Sheldon McCormick, CEO Communitech. “When we get that right, more companies scale here, and that’s what strengthens the entire ecosystem.”.
