Waterloo, ON – October 20, 2026 – The Accelerator Centre (AC) is pleased to announce the 30 companies selected to join Cohort 4 of AC:RevLab, an intensive revenue accelerator for early-stage technology companies across southern Ontario.
Delivered as part of the Scale-Up Platform with Communitech and supported by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), AC:RevLab focuses on a critical stage for early-stage companies: turning a validated product and early customer traction into consistent revenue.
Over five months, founders will work directly with experienced sales leaders to refine their go-to-market strategies, improve customer acquisition and retention, strengthen their sales processes and use data to make more informed decisions.
“Early traction is an important milestone, but turning it into repeatable revenue requires a different set of skills and decisions,” said Ruth Casselman, CEO of the Accelerator Centre. “AC:RevLab gives founders direct access to people who have built and led sales teams so that they can test their approach, learn from what is happening in the market and make better decisions about where to focus.”
AC:RevLab combines one-to-one mentorship and founder-focused coaching with expert-led workshops, peer learning and practical sales support. Participants also receive CRM support from HubSpot and access to HubSpot for Startups tools at a discounted rate.
AC:RevLab is delivered through the Scale-Up Platform, an initiative supporting high-potential Canadian technology companies. When the program launched in 2025, the Accelerator Centre committed to supporting 225 founders over three years.
“Turning early traction into repeatable revenue is a critical step for technology companies looking to grow,” said Sheldon McCormick, CEO of Communitech. “The AC gives founders access to experienced sales leaders and practical support to help them get there. More companies building strong sales capabilities means more Canadian technology companies with the potential to scale.”
