Startup Visa at the AC
Compete on a global scale
Canada’s Startup Visa Program provides permanent residence to entrepreneurs who have the potential to build innovative companies in Canada that create new jobs, spur economic growth, and compete on a global scale. Our programming is designed to evaluate, assess and support up to ten (10) startups per year.
Prior to applying, please review the Government of Canada's Startup Visa eligibility requirements.
In addition to the Government of Canada requirements, the AC requires SUV applicants:
- Have an innovative technology (product or service) in any sector
- Be actively working on developing/scaling the company at the time of application
- Have researched the Canadian market opportunity and gained an understanding and desire to grow a business and team in Canada
- Have a combined revenue of $100,000 USD generated over the past two (2) years or a strong, demonstrable sales channel

Bring your startup to Canada
In addition to providing a Letter of Support for qualified entrepreneurs interested in scaling their businesses in Canada, our Startup Visa program includes:

Startup Visa pricing
Invest in your success
If selected for the program, applicants must actively participate in 3 months of AC:Startup Visa programming with the staff and mentors at the Accelerator Centre, and pay a one time fee of $75,000 CAD. Those who successfully complete the program will be eligible to join our AC:Incubate program and continue receiving mentorship and support from the AC for an additional 9 months at no additional cost.
