The Accelerator Centre's contemporary office environment is built to inspire creativity, collaboration and commercialization success.

  • Meeting spaces - professionally furnished meeting rooms of various sizes (equipped with audio visual, flipcharts, whiteboards, and Internet)
  • Networked - 1700 square feet of networking common area for daily interactions and special events (equipped with audio visual, speaker system, microphone, WIFI and Internet)
  • Shared services - kitchen area with microwave, fridge, complimentary coffee and tea service, vending machines, and a daily "food lady" selling light lunch items
  • Full service - basic utilities, telephone and internet access, janitorial services and parking included in monthly fee
  • Well situated - close proximity to the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University

The Accelerator Building

The Accelerator Centre is located within the Accelerator Building, situated in the heart of Waterloo’s high technology community, within the University of Waterloo’s Research and Technology Park. The Accelerator Building is a state of the art, three story, 10,000 square foot building, and home to the Accelerator Centre, Communitech, and other technology and professional companies. A contemporary facility, built of brick and stone, the Accelerator Centre was constructed to be one with the environment, making use of extensive roof top gardens – home to native plants of the region.
