Graduate from the Accelerator Program: check. Now what?

On December 8th we at the Accelerator Centre were thrilled to have four more graduates from the Accelerator Program. Clearpath Robotics, CrossChasm, Enflick, and LoyaltyMatch are the latest companies to pass through the business services and mentorship that make up the Accelerator Program.

What exactly does graduating from the Accelerator Program mean and what happens next, you may be asking yourself.  At least I hope you are asking yourself that question because I'm about to answer it.

All of us at the Accelerator Centre have one goal "to accelerate the growth of successful new technology companies."  In a previous blog I described the different mentors that help guide our Clients through the process of becoming those successful new companies, and much like your high school history class, we needed a way to measure the level of this success. The Accelerator Program does just that.  We have created milestones and measuring points that we know will push our Clients towards accelerated growth, and then we created metrics to evaluate those areas.

Clearpath Robotics, CrossChasm, Enflick, and LoyaltyMatch have demonstrated the accelerated growth to become graduates. They are all contributing to the local (and global) economy, hiring many new employees, and have proven to have a sustainable business model.

So what now for these companies?  Well they are all moving on to bigger and better different things. Each company has moved or is about to move into their own space out of the Accelerator Centre, or the Hub in LoyaltyMatch's case.  I encourage you to visit their websites and keep track of the Waterloo Region's newest additions to the business world; I'm sure you will be as proud of them as the Accelerator Centre is.
